Hi all! I started this blog a few years back, and like so many people had every intention of keeping up with it. I spent 3 years back in school earning a degree in animation, and then spent a year working full time as the Senior Graphic Designer at a local printer. So even though I haven't been blogging, I have been productive!

Yesterday, June 2, 2014, I launched a Kickstarter campaign called Geeked On Stickers and T-Shirts. As the name implies, it is a crowd-funding campaign set up so that I can produce some really cool stickers and t-shirts for people like myself who are into geeky things like comic books, table-top games, video games, science fiction, fantasy, vampires, zombies, etc. The first 4 designs are below:

Please check out the project on Kickstarter.com. It's under "Design" and you can search for Geeked On to find it. Help spread the word and if it looks like something you would like to be a part of please help fund!

Over the next couple of weeks I'll post some of the work I've done over the last couple of years. Thanks for visiting!

Ray is happy to annouce that the "Robot" piece below came in 5th place (out of about 25-30 entries) in the June Stylized Challenge for 2D Artist Magazine, and is featured in the current issue.

The "Amazon" piece finished 8th for July, and will be in next months issue.

I also had 2 finalist pieces in the Gnomon Wallpaper contest for July, and won a couple hundred dollars worth of prizes. :)

To start off, here are 3 pieces I recently finished. These were done for various online contests

July 21, 2009 ... Ray has a blog!

As I am working on my website, I thought it would be cool to set up a blog as well. I figure once my site is up, it may be long periods of time between updates. I do, however, foresee updating a blog much more often. So here is another little corner of the internet that I will use to share my artwork, and other things that I see fit.

Thank you for looking, and feel free to drop me an email, add me as a friend on Facebook, or follow my blog. I always appreciate constructive feedback about my art.
